Goblins on Grand Brings Community Together in Downtown Ponca City

Downtown Ponca City was filled with costumes, candy, and smiling faces during Goblins on Grand last night! Ponca City Main Street loved being part of this community tradition and welcoming families to our booth.

A special thank-you goes to Charity Angel AMBUCS for taking the lead as this year’s primary host. We are honored to work alongside them and Heather Cannon Honda to keep this annual celebration going.

As we like to say, every day is Christmas at Ponca City Main Street! Our penguin and winter-themed booth brought a little holiday spirit to Halloween while getting everyone excited for the upcoming Ice on the Plaza season. Thank you to our PCMS Promotions Committee for designing the booth, selecting the game, and developing the theme, and to our program volunteers and board members who helped with planning and worked the booth throughout the evening.

We also extend our appreciation to the downtown merchants and property owners for their flexibility with the early street closures, and to all the community organizations and businesses that participated. Your support helped create a fun and welcoming evening for local families.

Thank you to the City of Ponca City and all departments involved for their work coordinating event logistics, and to the Ponca City Police Department for helping keep everyone safe.

The downtown fun continues as we prepare for Ice on the Plaza’s Opening Night Celebration on Friday, November 20! Mark your calendars and join us as we kick off another season of skating, special events, and holiday memories in Downtown Ponca City.
