The Community Health Foundation is one of many generous sponsors supporting Kids Skate Free Day. Ponca City Main Street is grateful to all of the businesses, organizations and community partners who have sponsored and supported Ice on the Plaza. Their contributions and continued community involvement help make these special events possible and allow Main Street to provide memorable experiences for families throughout the holiday season.
The Community Health Foundation is helping bring some holiday fun to local families by supporting Ponca City Main Street’s upcoming Kids Skate Free Day at Ice on the Plaza.
Community Health Foundation Director Deroin Scheiber recently presented a $500 sponsorship check to Ponca City Main Street Director Maci Graves and Board Member and Ice on the Plaza Organization Committee Chair Hunter Vap.
The $500 contribution will go toward the sponsorship of Kids Skate Free Day, helping provide children in the community with an opportunity to enjoy ice skating and take part in the festive activities at Ice on the Plaza.
Ponca City Main Street submitted a grant application to the Community Health Foundation requesting funding for the event. The foundation’s support helps make it possible for Main Street to continue offering family-friendly activities and creating opportunities for local children and families to enjoy downtown Ponca City.
“We appreciate the Community Health Foundation for supporting Kids Skate Free Day and helping us make this event accessible and enjoyable for local families,” said Graves. “We are also incredibly thankful for all of our sponsors and community partners who continue to support Ice on the Plaza. It truly takes a community effort to make these events possible.”
The sponsorship is another example of local organizations working together to invest in community events, support downtown Ponca City and provide positive experiences for local children and families.
